DISTRESSING

Lots of distressing in this one, the edging on the background paper, the matted paper, the circle and the image were distressed and then inked.  I also stamped the background on the circle.

I decided to do a very simple matting and layering style for this card, the background on the cardstock is stamped with a floral design from the Stamping Up range.

This week we want to see your cards that feature something nice and shiny. It can be Glossy Accents added to your image, or charms, metal flowers, mirror card, if it's shiny we want to see it!

And this is what I came up with, used another of my scrummy new WOJ stamps! I added a sliver heart charm and some sprays of pearls  for the Cute Card Thursday challenge ....

Friday Sketchers and Whiff Of Joy

Got my new WOJ stamps on Monday it was the pre-order secret stamps, didn't know what I was getting, but boy was I happy when the turned up and the lovely people at WOJ even put in a delish pack of brads, soo beautiful, thank you WOJ!

Friday Sketchers:-

Whiff Of Joy:-

"Our challenge for this fortnight is "Paper Piecing".

Again fantastic challenges, loved working with the sketch and the paper piecing was fun!

Isn't she just adorable .... I don't know her name or the names of any of the other beautiful stamps that came with the kit, if anyone knows their names could you please point me in the right direction!  I loved, loved colouring her in! I think I might be ordering more of these secret kits!

 This was a lovely challenge, loved the theme and the sketch was brilliant to work with.  Here is what I came up with

OOps need to fix my watermark, lol!  I have just noticed that I coloured her tights in different!  I put glossy accents glue over a paper label to make it stand out more!
